Water Tower Place is at the vanguard of downtown Cedar Rapids’ current renaissance, the first and finest historical residential renovation project in the city.

Built in the early 1900’s, NewBo’s most stylish modern lofts were originally home to a pharmaceutical storage company. The warehouse was later repurposed as a facility for garden and seed supply.

In 2006, Water Tower Place’s conversion to the city’s first loft-styled property was completed. 70 residents currently occupy the 43 unique condos. Echoes of history reverberate through cement columns and brick walls. The vitality of the bohemian spirit pulses through each corridor.
